De regio is ingeschreven op basis van het criterium: \u2018Het geheel van stedelijke eigenschappen, fort, kust en oesterbanken is een uitzonderlijk getuigenis van de uiteindelijke bloei van de culturele traditie van de parelindustrie die de Arabische Golf domineerde tussen de tweede en vroege twintigste eeuw. Hoewel de parelindustrie is verdwenen, draagt deze regio de herinnering aan de eigendommen en bouwtradities die het heeft gekoesterd.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.treebuilders.eu\/site\/assets\/files\/1163\/pearl_path_bahrain.jpg\" alt=\"pearl_path_bahrain.jpg\" width=\"794\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Uitdaging<\/strong><br \/>\nUitdaging Het project omvatte de ontwikkeling van Pearl Path Public Squares in Muharraq, Bahrein. Daaronder zeventien openbare ruimtes langs de Pearling Pathway, uitgerust met bomen die natuurlijke airconditioning bieden. TreeBuilders leverde het TreeParker-systeem voor de gevraagde boomsoort \u2018Firetree\u2019. Delonix regia\u2019s overvloedige rode bloei valt op in de witte omgeving. De eeuwenoude fundamenten zijn echter niet bestand tegen de extreme wortelkracht van deze boomsoort.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.treebuilders.eu\/site\/assets\/files\/1163\/pearl_path.jpg\" alt=\"pearl_path.jpg\" width=\"794\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Oplossing<\/strong><br \/>\nWe schetsten een plan om ervoor te zorgen dat deze bomen gezond en snel zouden groeien en op korte termijn een schaduwrijke omgeving zouden produceren zonder de omgeving te beschadigen. In totaal hebben we voor zestien van de Pearl Path Public Squares 202 boombunkers gebouwd. Deze openbare ruimtes verbeteren samen met de bomen de buitenervaring van de straten van Muharraq en bieden tegelijkertijd een plek voor ontmoeting, recreatie, vrije tijd en rust. De open ruimtes zullen zeker bijdragen aan onder meer een betere algemene gezondheid en minder stress.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.treebuilders.eu\/site\/assets\/files\/1163\/muharraq_pathway_trees.jpg\" alt=\"muharraq_pathway_trees.jpg\" width=\"794\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Resultaat<\/strong><br \/>\nResultaat Bezoekers kunnen aan boord gaan van een exclusieve reis door de geschiedenis van de parelhandel in het land. Het pad dat het verhaal vertelt is ongeveer twee mijl (3,5 kilometer) lang en ligt in het zuiden van Muharraq. De route neemt bezoekers van het strand naar het huis van een van de grote koopmannen en is ge\u00efllustreerd met beelden en geluiden uit de rijke geschiedenis van Bahrein en zijn inwoners.
